PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
SUB-SECTION 5.1 - RENTAL AND LATE FEES
Rental period begins when the renter signs the delivery as being in their possession and continues until the item is placed back in the mail or returned by hand to our store for pick up bookings.
Where Apparel has not been returned to Dressed by Jaz by the Rental Return Due Date then Dressed by Jaz shall be entitled to charge additional hire fees until the Apparel is returned to Dressed By Jaz by way of issuing an invoice to the renter. Such additional charges shall be charged a fixed fee of $30 for each day overdue. – Sundays and public holidays are not charged/included due to post office being closed.
If the renter has not returned the item within 15 days it will be deemed non-returned and Dressed By Jaz will charge 150% of the full retail price of the item additional to any late fees occurred.
SUB-SECTION 5.2 - RISK/INSURANCE
Dressed by Jaz retained property of the items hired however all risk for the items pass to the renter at time of delivery.
The User accepts full responsibility for the safekeeping of the Apparel.
Dressed by Jaz offers free damage insurance to the value of one hundred dollars ($100) to cover minor damage or staining. For minor damage and/or staining if Dressed By Jaz assesses (at its sole discretion) that the cost of repairs will be over one hundred dollars ($100), then the User will be required to pay the difference (e.g. if the repair cost is one hundred and fifty dollars ($150), then Dressed by Jaz will require the User to pay fifty dollars ($50).
LOST OR STOLEN If the Apparel gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the User then the User will be liable to pay for replacement of the item. In assessing the replaceable value, Dressed By Jaz will take into account, the demand of that dress in the market, the availability to purchase that dress in the market, the condition of the dress, and the rental fee that the User has already made.
Dressed by Jaz requires images of government issued photo identification for all designer bag bookings. Dressed by Jaz will make reasonable attempts to contact the hiree prior to a hire period beginning to collect information. It is not the fault of Dressed By Jaz if the hiree does not comply with providing photo identification and the booking will not be refunded on this basis.
SUB-SECTION 5.3 - CANCELLATIONS
If the User wishes to cancel an order, then they must contact Dressed By Jaz as soon as possible. Dressed by Jaz does not offer refunds for cancelled orders, strictly a store credit only minus the cancellation fee of $30. To be eligible for any store credit, cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the hire date.
5.3.2 Credit notes due to cancellation
Credit notes due to cancellations are valid for 6 months and will expire if not used within that period. Once the credit note is used to make a new hire booking with Dressed by Jaz, the sale is final and not subject to any changes or cancellations for a credit note (this includes where the item is not the correct fit).
5.3.3 COVID-19 Cancellations
Orders cancelled due to COVID-19 are subject to the ordinary cancellation terms however the cancellation fee will be waived and no period of notice for the cancellation is required.

What should I do if my event date has been moved?
Contact Jaz at Jaz@DressedbyJaz.com as soon as possible and we can rearrange the booking for you or issue you a credit voucher.
What if the gown I have booked is already booked out for my revised event date?
In the event your garment is already booked out for your revised date you can choose another item or book for another event using your credit: cocktail wear, clutches or formal wear. The choice is yours.
What if my event is cancelled because of COVID-19?
In line with the recommendations from the ACCC, you will be issued a store credit to the full value of your order. Valid for 6 months.
SUB-SECTION 5.4 - SIZING ISSUES & RETURNS
To return for sizing issues, the user must contact Dressed by Jaz at Jaz@dressedbyjaz.com within 2 hours of receiving your item/s and lodge the item into an express post service on the same day as receiving the item.
Once the unworn item/s are delivered back to Dressed by Jaz, a single-use credit note minus a $30 cancellation fee + shipping fees will be issued within allow 24 hours from delivery. Credit notes due to incorrect size and fit are available for postal orders only.
SUB-SECTION 5.4 - DEFECTS
If a customer believes an item is damaged or has a defect or the wrong order has been sent, he or she must contact Dressed By Jaz with clear images of the garment within 4 hours of delivery. The customer may be responsible for this damage if Dressed By Jaz is not notified within this time period.
SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Should a client of Dressed by Jaz, wish to pursue legal action the client is responsible for all legal costs of Dressed by Jaz in adequately responding and resolving the matter.

No. We offer complimentary cleaning with all hire bookings. Simply return your item as is after your event.
We want you to enjoy yourself without any stress. We understand that accidents happen and offer $100 insurance complimentary with every booking. This will cover damage such as items which need additional dry cleaning and minor repairs. However, if an item is deemed irreparable, you will be charged the retail price of the item for us to replace it.
If your booking was placed through All The Dresses, a dress hire marketplace we partner with, the terms agreed on their website when you checked out will apply. You should check your order confirmation email or visit their website for terms & conditions rather than reading the terms on this page.
DELIVERY & PICK UP
For postal bookings: Your booking will be delivered by 6pm before or on the first day of your rental period.
For pick up bookings: We will contact you when your item is available for collection & let you know our opening hours for that week so, you can come in anytime that suits you best. Often, you can even collect your item 1-2 day before your hire start date.
Yes, the cost of postage for your designer item ranges between $15-$29 dependant on the item you choose.
To make returning easy, we provide pre-paid return satchels included in this price!

For postal bookings: you must ship back by 4pm on the last day of your hire period using the return post satchel provided.
For Pick up bookings: you can return anytime on the last day of your rental period using our 24 hour returns chute.

Doesn't fit quite right? Not a worry, to return your garment simply:
1. Contact us using the form below or at Jaz@dressedbyjaz.com within 2 hours of receiving your item/s.
2. Place your item/s into the return satchel provided and take the parcel to your local post office or place in a YELLOW post box (same day as delivery to you).
3. Once your unworn item/s are delivered back to Dressed by Jaz HQ, we will issue you a single-use credit note minus a $30 cancellation fee + shipping fees (please allow 24 hours from delivery).
